Matthew Dickinson from Laszlo’s Fencing Club in Durham became National U20 champion in London Sports Dock . This achievement means Matthew being the current under 20 and under 23 national champion . Matthew has been selected to represent GBR in the under 20 competition Luxembourg in September .

This weekend saw the best fencers compete in the National Championships in London. Hannah Nesbitt from Leon Paul Epee Club coached by Jon Willis, solidly carve her way through the tableux to the final fight against Hannah Lawrence and had to settle for a silver medal! Next weekend Hannah is off to the European Under 23 Championships in Plodiv Bulgaria!
