NE fencers success at School Games!

The School Games is a prestigious, multi-sport Olympic style event organised by the Youth Sport Trust. Taking place in Loughborough, the Games is where the Home Nations of England, Norther Ireland, Scotland and Wales battle it out across 12 sports.

Representing England were Matt Dickinson, James Thomas and Josh Waddell started collecting medals across both days of competition. Matt Dickinson achieved two golds in the individual and team epee, James Thomas gained a Silver in the Wheelchair Sabre and 2 Bronzes in the Wheelchair Epee and Foil. It was Josh Waddell who took the triple crown by winning all his events in the Wheelchair categories!
