Four fencers from Durham's leading fencing club have been selected for Great Britain's foil U17 team competing in Poznan in Poland in January!

Georgia Webb, Maddy Brown, Maddy Whitfield and Pheobe Hughes who train at Laszlo's Fencing Club at Maiden Castle in Durham, were top of the National Rankings when selection time came.

Under the watchful tuition of the ex-National Hungarian team coach Laszlo Jakab, they train 5 days a week in the Regional Fencing Centre based at Durham University Sports Centre and at the Durham Institute of Sport.
