To prepare some of you for Regional Qualifiers for the National Youth championships at the Newcastle fencing Centre on the 9th March 2019

Date – Saturday the 2nd February 2019; Arrive at 11.00, begin fencing 11.15 ‘till 3.00

 Groups from:-  Emmanuel College.                            

                         Phoenix Fencing Club-Durham.        

                         Yarm School Fencing Club 

                         Teesside Fencing Club 

                         Tynedale Fencing Club

The session is designed to give fencers an extra training/sparring opportunity, and, is particularly aimed at those with either up coming competitions or those wishing to have a go at electric fencing; the chance to meet other fencers from different clubs and hopefully make new friends in a more relaxed environment that at a competition.

Spectators and supporters are also more than welcome to attend

Organisers and The Association accept no liability for injury or loss of equipment. Bring snacks and drinks with you.

Fee for the training day;- £12.00 per fencer. Please advise ASAP if you are attending to avoid the event being cancelled.

We advise that fencers should be at least starter or recreational members of British Fencing -details from the British Fencing web site.

The day will be underwritten by the Durham Phoenix Fencing Club for the cost of the venue for this session only. For these series to continue it is imperative that it makes some form of profit- (which goes to the club). If not then the future of these training days is in jeopardy.
